  Not so. I recognize fully what's going on. I know more about what's wrong with the organization than any apostate. In fact, if the apostate knew what I knew they would drool venom over the possibilities. I just refuse to allow myself to be swayed by the apostate lynch mob that's calling for blood. Besides, my faith is not in the men at 25 Columbia Heights. They are, after all, just that---men. They are not my guru. That's why there's nothing they can do, or fail to do, that is going to shake my faith in Jehovah. I trust God implicitly. I think that's what my original post is about. / You Know

  He meant what he said.

  That's right. And Jesus said that those who do his Father's will are the same as his mothers and brothers. Therefore, Jesus own words indicate that those whom he calles his brothers have a spiritual relationship with God and obey him as their Father. That rules out the homeless wino on the street or the guy who happens to be in jail for whatever. In the story of the good Samaritan Jesus indcated who our neighbors are. The relationship of a nieghbor is clearly different than that of a brother. You are simply wrong---period. And saying that you are right without offering one shred of reasoning doesn't make it so.

  BTW, if Lyndon Larouche was right and you hitched your wagon to his star, why have all of your predictions about the "end" and what will lead up to it been dead wrong?

  Is that you answer to my challenge to you to prove that LaRouche is a liar and Lindsey-like con man? Do you remember why I tagged you with the name Bluster Boy on H2O? LOL! / You Know

  Why do people like you find it so hard to accept that Jesus actually meant exactly what he said?

  I accept what Jesus said. I don't accept what you say he meant.

  So, what are you going to do, You Know? Wait until the last possible moment to do some good for your fellow man, and hope you've done just enough to squeak through?

  I do what I can to help people, as do many of Jehovah's Witnesses, but the guy on the street ain't Jesus' brother as you mistakenly assume.

  You may think that my father is the Devil, but your father is Lyndon Larouche, a crackpot and liar in the league of Hal Lindsey.

  My bet is that you have never read Lyndon LaRouche. He is a respected statesman and honored by many dignitaries and intellectuals around the world. Hal Lindsey is a used car salesman that got religion. But, If you have actually read his writings, which I seriously doubt that you have, but if you have, explain to me why you call him a liar. More than likely, as in other matters, you are simply repeating gossip and slander that has been passed on to you. Besides, my citing the works of Lyndon LaRouche doesn't make me a follower of his any more than my citing any other authority makes me a follower of them. If Dubya ever said anything relevant, for instance, which is not likely, but if he did, I might cite him too; but that wouldn't mean that I am a republican.

  Let's face it Farkel: You don't understand what Jesus was talking about when he made reference to his brothers. And when called to account for your ignorance you can only resort to the same tired old infantile name-calling, hand waving, slander, and ridicule. / You Know

  I have no doubts about my faith. The reason the issues are still unresolved is because Jehovah has not taken up our legal case yet. That's what the Psalm was actually pointing forward to. / You Know

  That is evidently true. In fact, Proverbs 30:12 says that you can't discern for yourself that you haven't even been washed from your own excrement. So, yes, I think you are right on the mark with that observation. It comes down to this: You basically have two choices--You can listen to the faithful slave of Christ, or you can listen to the evil slave. Apostates, one and all, have chosen to follow the evil slave. Let's face it: you have no insights other than what have been handed you by the ringleaders of the apostasy, who were originally themselves anointed by holy spirit. If you did have something of value you would post something other than childish ridicule. /You Know

  Uh, Jesus wasn’t talking about some lame “doing good” to any “chosen ones.” He was talking about specifically giving charity in a very material way to the LEAST of his brothers.

  You are laboring under an enormous load of ignorance, and because you are for the most part Biblicaly illiterate, you inevitably arrive at absurd and wrong conclusions. When Jesus speaks of his brothers, he is not speaking of all mankind. That's ridiculous. In the 8th chapter of John Jesus said that the Jews that rejected him were from their father---the Devil. Now, most folks, but assuredly not all, have enough common sense to realize that if two people have different fathers then they cannot be true brothers. So it is in a spiritual sense. Jesus was a Son of Jehovah God. Any whom he refers to as his brothers must also be born from Jehovah, making them sons of God also. Only the anointed and the angels are called sons of God in the Scriptures. For the most part the children of this world imitate their spiritual father, Satan the Devil, and therefore cannot be brothers of Christ. Unless a person has been born again by the spiritual reproductive seed of the heavenly Father, Jesus does not recognize them as his brothers.

  So, if the anointed are Christ’s “brothers,” then what are the non-anointed? Dog meat? Pond scum?

  The sheep who receive Christ's blessing for doing good to his brothers are the non-anointed. That's pretty plain to those who are not spiritually blinded by their own hubris and hatred.

  The thing that makes your post the most laughable is that the Watchtower no longer teaches that the sheep and the goats are presently in the process of being separated. That is a future event. Since that final determinative judgment is yet future, the calamity that will put God's sons, Jesus' brothers, into the miserable situations described in the prophetic illustration have not unfolded yet. Hence, the sheep have not had the opportunity to show their loyalty to Jesus' brothers during their time of hardship, but, as we all know---it's coming. / You Know

  What is your basis for applying these words to Jesus? When did Jesus' errors overtake him and what errors were these? The bible speaks of him as being error-free.

  That's the point, when Jesus was on the earth that Psalm could not have applied to him. But, as I explained, Christ lives vicariously through his disciples. Many of the Psalms are written that way, whereby, the holy spirit speaks for Christ, and moves seemlessly from when he was on the earth, to events yet to occur at Jesus' return. It's up to the reader to discern the distinction.

  Then you glibbly transfer these words to your so-called anointed brothers. If Romans 6:18 applies to anointed ones, then this verse cannot apply to them. It reads: "Yes, since you were set free from sin, you became slaves to righteousness." If they were set free from sin, how can they commit so many errors that these overtake? They certainly could not be considered to be getting any help from holy spirit if this is true.

  That's really false reasoning on your part. You have made the fatal assumption that the faithful and discreet slave is infalliable. That sort of unreasonable, unscriptural, expectation is what sets people up to stumble in the first place. Being set free from sin, in that context, means that we are no longer slaves to the sort of sins of the flesh that once enslaved us. It doesn't however mean that we are free from errors do to lack of judgment and that sort of thing.

  And yes I know that Paul quoted from the Septuagint, but my question is why the difference in wording.

  The apostles didn't always make exact word-for-word quotations. At times they paraphrased, or they combined thoughts from several different verses. At times they quoted from footnoted material, as appears to be the case at Hebrews 10:6

  their target was 30,000 and they are almost there.

  i dont know, but maybe my number was 25,879...or something.. anyone out there works or used to work for this company?

  Yes...but are you presently employed? LOL! The fact of the matter is that the present system is run by people with impressive resumes,' yet it is becoming more obvious by the day that most of them don't have a clue what's really going on in the world, much less how to fix it.

  While it may appear "prophetically convenient" to capitalize upon the hi-tech stock failures as part of a composite sign of the end, it is not a valid application.

  That remains to be seen. From my spot in the crow's nest, we are just on the fringes of the outer squall line. The REAL storm hasn't even hit---yet. Do really really think that the world is going to see Jesus' coming like a thief in the night?

  Firstly, westernized nations are peaking technically and financially now and are economically over inflated,

  That's not true. The Western nations have allowed their economies to crumble. The physical infrastructure has been in a long, slow, decay for decades. What passes for the economy is largely unproductive paper shufflingly and financial speculation.

  however, what many fail to realize is that the under developed nations and third world nations have yet to build, expand, and upgrade their economic, technical and communications infrastructures.

  That's true. Most people on the planet don't even have telephone service. And they likely never will because those nations have been buried under a mountain of debt.

  Now, examine the chinese population. What is the potential for computer sales there? How about India, the third world nations in Africa and Asia?

  There's no question that that region has tremendous potential for development. That's where the majority of mankind live. So yes, the untapped markets are enormous. That is not to say though that the potential will be realized. There would have to be some radical structure changes in the money system and in the political system as well.

  So, in conlcusion, the economic "turnaround" is indeed ahead.

  Talk about jumping to conclusions! LOL! You are overlooking the fact that the system is totally bankrupt. That presents a problem that cannot be wished away so easily. / You Know

  Hitech and telecom are just the first wave of an oncoming financial tsunami-like crash. Anyone who believes the nonsense of an imminent recovery is a fool. Last year Wall Street was touting tech stocks all the way up until the blow out. It was the largest swindle ever perpetrated on the suckers. Since then we have heard them lie over and over again that the next quarter would see the rebound. No one wants to know the truth: the productive economy is in virtual freefall and no one can stop it. When once the accelerating collapse of the industrial base reaches a certain point, the speculative financial bubble can no longer be sustained. As an example: The telecom industry as a whole is 350 billion dollars in debt and is defaulting on it's bond obligations at a record pace. That puts banks and brokerages and bondholders in jepordy. And because of the collapsing speculative bubble and loss of corporate profits, the tax base of states and the federal government erodes. Just last fall in the United States the big debate was what to do with all that surplus money the government supposedly had laying around, now, as of yesterday, the politicians are saying they are busted and going to have to dip in to the Social Security accounts to keep things going. At every turn is hysterical denial of the cold hard facts. Only a handful of people get it: the global financial system is finished.
